Hello, one way you can accomplish this in Gutenberg is to use a Single Field block to display the post excerpt. Place that Single Field Block inside Toolset Container block, and you can set the entire Container to be clickable as a link. You can choose the current post's URL as the dynamic source of that link. I'm not quite sure what you mean by a WYSIWYG field shortcode, though.
