Tell us what you are trying to do?
I try to set up the “Lost password” page with this tut: https://toolset.com/course-lesson/creating-the-lost-password-page/
But the added code according to the tutorial stays empty.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
yes see above

What is the link to your site?
hidden link
and
hidden link

And I found this topic: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/wpv-reset-password-form-not-showing-the-reset-password-form/
But changing the quotation marks did not help.

Hi Corine,

Thank you for getting in touch.

When I viewed both links, both of the fields show up for me. See Screenshots.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,
Thank you for having a look.
What I found out after your message is: the links don's show up when you are logged in.

In the tutorial I read:
Now that both pages are set up, all you need to do is add links to the “Lost password” page.
Usually, you want to provide this link to users on the “My Account” and “Login” pages.

The My account page is a member-page. So only visible when you are logged in.

So what is the logic?
You can only reset your password when your are NOT logged in?
Oke.
But why place the link to reset password on the My acount page then?

Hope you can follow my thoughts
Kind regards,
Corine

Hi Corine,

Yes the Reset password won't show if you are logged in. The reset password form is only for when you have forgotten the password and wanted it changed.

If you want logged in users to change their passwords you will need to use an Edit User form. This form will allow them to change their passwords as well as edit any of the other fields that are on their user account.

Thanks,
Shane
