[Resolved] Loading post parent in a third party plugin

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Apologies this was because WP Rocket was enabled and it caches pages even for logged in users.

I have disabled this plugin entirely now for you.

Hi Matthew,

Thank you I was able to test this out now. The main issue was that I needed to add a favorite first before it showed up.

What I tried to do is to use this function below to get the ID from the permalink that can be generated. However its seems unless the shortcode for the permalink is directly on the form itself it won't produce any results, even though i've passed it into a custom shortcode.

The developers of this plugin will need to provide you with a custom shortcode that can get the ID of the items that it is listing out.
