[Resolved] Link image not working

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I have added several image blocks in a Content Template, and I would like to use the image link feature to create links from each image. However, several of the links do not work correctly on the front-end of the site.

Solution: When setting up the Content Template, select a post that contains information for all the available links and reset the image link URL configurations based on that post. If no posts contain all the available links, you may need to temporarily adjust one of the posts to create the necessary dynamic link URLs, then reset that post's content after saving the template.

Hello,

On a directory website I'm working on, I set a content template for the members post type.
I have a set of social icons made of image blocks with dynamic URL.
For some reasons, some of the links don't work anymore (it used to).

For example, on this profile:
hidden link
Linkedin and Twitter links work, but Viadeo and Facebook one don't.

It seems that the issue is same as this one:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/conditional-display-of-link-image-not-working-dispute-populated-field/
I followed the instructions but It didn't solve the problem.

Could you please help me with this?
Thanks
Sébastien

Hello, I'll be glad to take a closer look. The best way to approach this issue is to use the "View with:" field at the top of the Content Template editor to select a post that has some content in all of the available links. You may need to reset the image link setting, then resave the template. The dynamic sources feature should be able to create links successfully after resetting the image link settings. If that is not working correctly in your case, please provide login criteria in the private reply fields I have activated for your next reply, and I will log in for a closer look.

I tried to reset the fields several times before without success, but I realized that the different tested profiles didn't have content on EVERY links.
I applied your suggestion litteraly, I mean:
"select a post that has some content in ALL of the available links."
I created a temporary post with links on every fields, and then it worked!

Thank you very much Christian 🙂
