limit characters in fields

limit the number of characters the backend user can type into specific fields

Is there any documentation that you are following?
no, i just found this but, i think this is a frontend solution https://toolset.com/forums/topic/limit-character-count-om-a-cred-field/

Is there a similar example that we can see?
