I am trying to: display the main menu with Max Mega Menu plugin.

I expected to see: the main menu with Max Mega Menu styles

Instead, I got: the regular Starter Child menu.

Max Mega Menu is a free plugin.

I use Starter Child Theme and Layout plugin. On the layout, I added my main menu, which is enable for Max Mega Menu.

When I uncheck "load theme CSS" from customize/advanced settings, then the main menu is displayed as expected, but I lost all the styles (of course).

Max Mega Menu is supposed to overwrite the theme CSS...

I checked this page : https://toolset.com/forums/topic/starter-theme-not-compatible-with-max-mega-menu/
But the code doesn't work (anymore !?) or I forgot something.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Solution :
1) Go to Mega Menu > Menu Locations
2) Get the short code of your menu
3) Go to your Layout where you display the menu
4) Delete the menu
5) Add a cell (visual text editor or text widget)
6) Paste the short code
7) Enjoy !
