[Resolved] Layout question & X Theme integration

Just a quick couple questions. I've got a website that is built with X Theme and has it's own custom child theme. My client wants to create a bespoke blog index layout (attached) that has a slider to it. The default X Theme won't allow this.

I wanted to see if I can use Toolset to create a bespoke blog index like this and if it will integrate with the X Theme? I've never tried this before so I'm not sure how realistic this is.

You shouldn’t have any issue with Toolset and your theme.

You need to create a new Layout and assign it to Blog/Home. In the layout you can add the slider and a WordPress Archive cell.

The WP Archive cell uses views in order to show the info. When you include this cell it will ask you to create a new view or use a previous one.
