I am trying to: to create a costume layout ( slider images ) for my posts, i've created one and assigned it to post, but it seems that single pages of CPTs is not recognising the layout.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: this issue appears on all single CPT pages but here is an example
hidden link

I expected to see: This is how my posts should look like hidden link

Instead, I got: the basic blog structure

Hi Hadi,

Thank you I was able to log in.

Are both sites using the same theme ?

It could be that layout is not compatible with this theme.

As a workaround you can disable Layouts and then copy your code into a content template and then assign this content template to your post.

This should yield the same results.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Hadi,

This seems to be a live site so I wouldn't want to do any testing on it.

Would you mind if I grabbed a copy of the site using the Duplicator plugin?

Thanks,
Shane

No not at all ,
I don't mind that.

Hi Hadi,

It works fine when i used a content template instead it works fine.

It seems now the issue is with your thumbnails not showing up for the images to navigate through . However this one was being caused by this attribute here
uk-img=""

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi there again Shane..

I've tried an external solution to fix the problem, i think that is when tried the content template and worked fine for you .
i've removed it. and tried the layout / content and it doesn't work.
Can you check please, i've removed all the external code related to fixing the issue.

Thanks in advance

Hi Hadi,

Since you responded over the weekend I wasn't able to check on this for you.

However could you let me know if the custom solution that you've used is still removed?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Hadi,

I've tested this for you and the issue seems to be that your theme is not compatible with our Views or Layouts plugin.

The developers didn't use a defined function for the theme so views isn't able to hook into the content section to display the content templates.

Could you allow me to have access to the site where this theme works with our views plugin?

Thanks,
Shane
