Hi there

It looks like you are using a child theme. Could you first please confirm that the JS error occurs when using the parent theme?

#1180037

i must de-activate parent theme and child theme.
ie: if i just deactivate the child theme the error remains
if i disable all plugins except the types it makes no difference , deffanatley a parent theme and types js conflict
thankyou

I installed ClassiPress on a local test site and couldn't see any errors, so I visited your site and edited a custom post type.

I saw the JS error, but it comes from the BugMeBar plugin ("Another annoying notification bar plugin").

Disabling that plugin, the error disappears.

Are you able to use a "less annoying" notification bar plugin?

#1180043

thankyou ,
i can delete that plugin all together thats no problem
can i ask what version of classipress you installed please?

thankyou

Sorry, I was testing editing the existing test post type you created, which showed no errors, but—yes—when I create a new post type I can see the errors on your site.

And now that I go back to my own site and create a new post type rather than edit an existing site I see the same.

I'm escalating this so that my colleagues can investigate further, and I'll get back to you with their findings.

Hi Martin

Our developers took a look and it is something that ClassiPress need to fix.

As it is a commercial plugin, could you ask them for details of who we should contact with details of what needs fixing?

It would be more helpful if you have a particular contact rather than our sending a generic email to the theme shop.

#1180884

they will not fix it , there support is AWFUL , i will have to use advance custom fields instead and do a refund.thanks alot

also my theme will never be updated, so any fix would do me,even modifying the theme!!
