Your tutorials are often incorrect. Or need updated.
I am tyring to build a custom template with visual builder.
Your tutorial states: "You will be taken to the Content Template editor. Click on the WPBakery Page Builder button to design the template." on this page https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/create-templates-for-custom-post-types/ .
However, this does not exist.
Please tell me how to fix this bug or workaround it. I would like to use visual builder to build my template. Thanks

Hi Derrick,
Thank you for contacting our support forum.
I'm aware of this and as our documentation continuously improve and grow we try to update it as much as possible .
Some instances where the screen shots can be a little different can be due to the version of the plugin that the documentation team is using to prepare the document.
However the general principles and ideas behind them are always the same. Is there something that you are not clear about and would like for me to assist with ?
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Shane
Here is what i want to do.
I want to build a custom post type for properties. Not for sale, but a list of communities my client manages.
I am using this plugin because i don't need all the fluff other real estate plugins have. Plus i can customize with yours.
I simply want to customize the look of the layout within the content area, not the entire page.
I see in content template there is a button for visual builder.
Now do i need to make an entire layout template, or can I just make a content template? Your doc are not real clear on some things and need redone.
So what is the best route, layout template or content template? Or do i need both?
Thanks

Hi Derrick,
In this case you can simply make a content template.
If you don't need to change the layout of the page such as the sidebar then you can simply use a content template to do this.
Lets imagine the scenario of a house. Your theme is the house right.
Using Layouts will allow you to re-arrange the rooms in the house, so you can put the kitchen at the back or at the front of the house with layouts.
With content templates its arranging the furniture in a specific room. Its not quite as powerful as layouts to change the room arrangements.
Please let me know if this clears things up for you.
Thanks,
Shane
