Hi there,

I have recently purchased Toolset after some research as it seems to be the right...tool, for the job. However, I would like to confirm if it is in fact suitable, and if it is, which tutorials should I be following? I am currently busy with 'Directory and Classified sites'. This seems to be more or less similar to what I want to do.

Basically, I plan to hand pick and personally test/review travel data eSIMs. I then plan to list them in a concise no-frills database. In other words, users will be able to search available providers and plans for any given country/region using either a search bar or fields and/or drop down menus. This website will be solely dedicated to searching for travel eSIMs as searching the big engines like Google for something like this only serves to bombard users with tons of useless info. Most users don't care who invented the eSIM or who the GSMA is.

With all this in mind, and if Toolset is suitable, is there some further functionality I could add to this site with a plugin like WPDataTables? Is such a plugin compatible with Toolset? Is it even necessary if I'm already using Toolset? I have WPML installed, but translating will most likely only happen after we go live. As it is right now, there is nothing to translate, yet. It was through WPML that we've been using for a few years already on 2 other sites that I discovered Toolset, and considering we do plan to translate this new project, I believe Toolset and WPML are fully integrated and work very well together.

Some examples of what I'm trying to do, and compete with: esimdb.com esimradar.com esimfy.com

Kind Regards,

Sean H.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Yes - You can use Toolset to filter the content based on country or other custom fields you probably will have with your site.

I suggest best option for you to learn Toolset quickly and export its capabilities:

You can use our free test platform http://www.discover-wp.com and use any of our reference site that is build on top using Toolset features.

This will allow you to create a test site or our free test platform: http://www.discover-wp.com
- https://discover-wp.com/site-templates/

In addition to that - if you want to install any of our reference site we offer on http://www.discover-wp.com on your local machine or server, you can use the framework installer plugin:

Once you create test site using any of the reference site on your local machine or server - you can add your additional plugins like datatables etc..etc.. and check and test and explore and take decision with your findings that is it required or not.

By following this path you will have hand-on experience about how you can implement the functionality using Toolset or check the existing features of the current referent site that will give you idea how its buiild.

you can also try to follow any of the course we offer:
