We have a directory of locations, employees for each location, and services offered at each location, managed using Toolset. We would like to be able to share this data across multiple sites, because the data remains the same and the current solution would require us to essentially create the same posts, post relationships, templates, and content between sites.

Is there a way to manage all the Toolset post relationships and data from something like multisite, crossposting syncing(Simple WordPress Crossposting/Simple Multisite Crossposting plugins?), or perhaps with DNS mapping such as WP Landing Kit, instead of having those separate for each WordPress site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

You can certainly use Toolset plugins on a Multisite Network. Although Toolset is multisite ready but there's no way you can pull content from another site in the same network. It only offers the feature that it should work within the same site as content is managed per site.

In other words, Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, Views, WordPress Archives, Content Templates and so on, are created for one site in the network is not shared with another site in the network. Similarly, there is no way to create content in the main network site that propagates down to all network sites for sharing.

Regarding the plugin names you share that is useful to broadcast the content on multisite network you will have to check which works best as per your requirement as we do not have any official compatible plugin that I would suggest that you should use.

Thanks so much for the all the clarifying information, that makes sense. I'll have to investigate the plugin further.
