Bob

Hi there,

I'm working on a map search which will display a listing of markers on a map and a list of search results beneath that.
The filter options and the map are in view A and the listing (view B) is a copy of view A with the addition of a loop item template filled with relevant fields.

I'm working with Elementor (layout wise). I have the map (search result) loaded in the left column and the filter options loaded in the right column. In a new section containing view B I have the listing.

The results get updated fine ...the first time you give it a go... once you enter a second city in the address field it resets to the first city you would have entered earlier.

What am I missing here? Why does it reset?

Try Leeuwarden and Drachten as cities.

I noticed that not being logged in to WP admin erases the input field immediately.

Hello,

The problem you mentioned above is abnormal, please try these:

1) Upgrade to the latest version of Toolset plugins, you can download them here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/
The latest version of Toolset Views plugin is 2.7.3, but you are using version 2.7.2

2) In case it is a compatibility problem, please deactivate other plugins, and switch to wordpress default theme 2019, and test again

3) If the problem still persists, please provide a copy of your website, also point out the problem page URL and view URL, I need to test and debug it in my localhost, thanks

You can put the duplicator package in your own google drive disk, and share the link in below private message box.

Please try this:

This is a known issue of Toolset Maps plugin, see the errata here:
https://toolset.com/errata/toolset-maps-distance-search-location-input-cannot-be-used-when-the-views-is-displayed-in-split-mode/

It has been put into our to-do list of Toolset Maps plugin version 1.8, our developers are working on it, but I am not sure when will it be released.

Currently, please try the workaround as the errata I mentioned above:
do not use split Views when using Distance Filters.
