I'm just dipping my toes into using Layouts rather than the Theme I usually use, and coming across some stumbling blocks
It would be really useful if there was a Align menu Center option in Layouts (currently the options are just align let and right) without having to add a whole load of custom css (which i can't get working even following the advice here - https://toolset.com/forums/topic/definitive-method-to-center-horizontal-menu-in-toolset-starter-with-layouts/)
It would also be really useful if there was a Sticky / Floating menu option.
Some more configuration options for how the menu looks (background color, font color padding etc) that you could just point and click rather than custom css would also be really useful
Also adding padding and margin to rows like you can in Visual Composer would be super useful
Anyway just some thoughts
Hello,
Q1) It would be really useful if there was a Align menu Center option in Layouts
As you can see, it needs custom CSS codes, our supporter has already provided a workaround in the thread you mentioned above:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/definitive-method-to-center-horizontal-menu-in-toolset-starter-with-layouts/#post-481296
Please let me know if you still need assistance for it.
Q2) It would also be really useful if there was a Sticky / Floating menu option ...
Also adding padding and margin to rows like you can in Visual Composer would be super useful
All of them need custom CSS codes, you can follow our document to add your custom CSS codes to layout row and cell

Here is an example of Bootstrap "fixed to top navbar":

Since all of them are not built-in feature of Layouts plugin, if you agree, we can take it as a feature request, our developers will evaluate it.
Hi Luo
That's correct - I think these would be useful features to add if the developers would like to evaluate it.
I've tried using Layouts a couple of times, but so far tools like visual composer are just much more configurable. With Layouts I have to do too much custom CSS. I would love to use Layouts instead of visual composer!
