This post only has 3 images. However, they are infinitely repeating in the carousel below the large image.

The slider settings are set to 5 columns, but I would expect the 3 images to be left justified below the large image with 2 blank spots to the right.

Hello, the behavior you're describing sounds expected in terms of how the Image Slider block is programmed to function. Regardless of how many images are included, the slider is programmed to work by scrolling forwards or backwards, looping infinitely through the available images in a continuous carousel. The thumbnails below the slider also loop infinitely, and there isn't much configurability in the block options to change that behavior. If you'd like to see that feature added, I can submit it to my 2nd tier support team for evaluation.

There are a few other Gallery Block options available in the Block Editor that offer other gallery-type display options, but nothing exactly like what you've described with a slider of thumbnails without infinite scrolling.
