I assume we are talking about the "User Profiles Made Easy"plugin:

Since I do not have a copy of the UPME plugin, so I am not sure if it is full compatible with Types plugin, but since Types plugin is a free plugin, you can download it from wordpress.org:

I suggest you ask help from the author of UPME, check if it is compatible, and here is a document about "Adding Fields to User Profiles" with Types plugin:
