[Resolved] I need to remove the time from the date in views

This support ticket is created 5 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hello, is "fecha_de_entrada" a field created by Types? If so, then you should use the Types field shortcode to display the date without time.

[types field="fecha_de_entrada" format="Y-m-d"]

If the field is not created by Types, how is it created? What type of field is it? The wpv-post-field shortcode is not helpful for formatting values. It is only for displaying information directly from the database.

No, it was created by ACF plugin (Advanced Custom Fields), as I need to have a signature field and it was not possible with Types. Could you see the screenshots I sent?

Yes, thanks, I can see the screenshots. ACF dates are stored in the database using a different format, so Types field shortcodes can't really change the output easily. Custom code is required to format their date fields.
