Tell us what you are trying to do?
I would like to change the sensitivity of the search field
Is there any documentation that you are following?
No
Is there a similar example that we can see?
No
What is the link to your site? hidden link
Can you elaborate on what you mean by sensitivity?
If you were using Relevanssi (https://wordpress.org/plugins/relevanssi/) to include support for searching custom fields, for example, then its settings allow you to change the relative weighting used when ordering results (screenshot), but this would modify the order of results, it wouldn't change whether something appeared in the results at all. And it doesn't seem to allow modifying the weight applied custom fields, you would need to check with Relevanssi about that.
In any case, please give more details about what you want to achieve.
Hi Nigel many thanks for your response. My URL is hidden link and if you search for a company in the "Company Search Field" for example, I have a company listed called "SICK Automation Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd" You literally have to type the full company name before it finds it. I was hoping you could type part of the name in that field and it would still find the company. I hope this makes sene
I thank you very, very much. I think I sorted that out. One last thing, I do not know how to do is you will see that each company has "Sectors" and "Countries" How can I add the companies sectors onto their personal page. (Please see attached) I added the other detail to each page as you will see but I have forgotten how I did that. So I would like to just add the "sectors" under the clients name.
Thanks for the update and glad that it is sorted out now.
From looking into the code of the search form, I'll assume that the "Sectors" are added to the "Company" posts, as a custom field.
To show that custom field value, you can open the content template for the "Company" posts and insert a "Single Field" block with the "Sectors" custom field selected.
