Hi
I have a view which lists a repeatable field group
I need to add a column on the row which is a edit post link to the edit form page for that row.
I been hours on this and still no success.
Tony
Hi, the documentation for this process is over here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/creating-and-displaying-repeatable-field-groups/front-end-forms-for-repeatable-field-groups/#forms-for-editing-values-of-existing-repeatable-field-groups
Are you having trouble implementing the instructions here, or is your setup somewhat different from the setup described? If so, can I log in and take a quick look at how you have this set up? Let me know where I can see the View that shows the RFGs.
3. Planner List View page hidden link is linked from the nummber 1.
I don't understand this. Please show me how this is linked from #1, because I'm not familiar with your content.
hidden link is filtered to look at the email address of the logged in user and only show those events which match the custom field of the consultant email, so in your case I would need to change the email address of the to match the profservs user you are using.
Now this is the starting point the consultant only see those events that relate to them.
The consultant would then select the event need which takes them to a single content template,
The consultant then have 2 option
1. Add a new delegate (RPG)
2. Or list delegates already added to that event.
3. From that point of the list delegate I wanted the consultant to edit / remove a delegate.
Hope that makes sense
Tony
As you can see i have over 3000 events
Do you want me to change the email address in 104031 - 1 2 Day Data Review Meeting event so it matches your profservs user name ?
Tony
It may not be necessary right now. Let's try this:
- Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and deactivate Toolset Layouts. You're using Divi, so we don't recommend having Layouts active.
- Create a new Content Template and leave it unassigned. In the contents, place your Edit Delegate Form.
- In the Loop of the View of Delegates, click the Toolset Forms button and insert an Edit Post Link. The popup will ask you to choose which Content Template contains the Edit Post Form. Choose the template you just created a moment ago.
- Test from the front-end. You should now see an Edit Post link in the View of Delegates, and clicking that link should redirect you to a Form to edit the current row.
Let me know the results.
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
Thank you that worked'
I will close the ticket and deal with the return back to delegate list view and refresh.
My next is to trigger an email to the delegate's email when the attended is ticked.
I will do that in the morning UK time.
Thank you
Tony
