[Closed] I got an error after installing the type from the download section

This support ticket is created 4 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I updated an old site with types 1.6.3 to 3.2.1 version and got:

where the error.

the other question is: when I finsh the toolset types account, can I use the last installed plugin over that time? regards.

Hello,

You are upgrading Types plugin from a very old version, it might be a problem.

And I have checked the Types plugin change log:
https://toolset.com/download/toolset-types/#changelog

The version 1.6.3 isn't in above list.

I suggest you try these:
1) Restore back your website to original before upgrading
2) Backup your website
3) Upgrade your website WordPress installation to the latest version:
https://wordpress.org/download/
4) Delete the old version of Types plugin files, it is safe to delete plugin files, all Types setting are saved in your website database
5) Download the latest version of Toolset Types plugin 3.4.1 and install it manually, you can download it here:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

And test again

If your Toolset subscription is expired, you won't get new version of Toolset plugins, but you can still use them in your website.
