Tell us what you are trying to do? trying to install toolset onto wordpress.

Is there any documentation that you are following? I downloaded and tried to upload but there's too many nano files

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Welcome to Toolset support and I'd be happy to assist.

To get started with the Toolset plugins, the simplest option is to download only the Toolset Types plugin from the downloads page:
https://toolset.com/account/downloads/

Once you have downloaded the plugin's zip file, it can be uploaded just like regular WordPress plugins, as explained here:
https://toolset.com/faq/how-to-install-and-register-toolset/#installing-the-toolset-types-plugin

After the Toolset Types plugin is active and registered, you'll be able to install other Toolset plugins from the admin area.
( also explained in the same guide )

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar

hi
I have downloaded the plugin and when I press register. I enter my key number and it says invalid site key

#2089807

I went to toolset list of sites. and I copied the key. and pasted in the register section in wordpress and it says invalid key

Thanks for writing back.

Each Toolset site key works with only a specific WordPress URL/website that it was created for.

If you're getting an invalid site key message, it means that the key that you're trying to use was not created for the current website or the address provided wasn't correct.

I'll recommend these steps:

1. Please go to the Toolset's site key management page ( https://toolset.com/account/sites/ ) and delete the existing site key.

2. Next, you can generate a new one, making sure to use the same address that is set in the website's "Site Address" field.
( at WP Admin -> Settings -> General )

After that, you'll be able to activate your website with this new site key.

Let me know how it goes.

it still says invalid site key for this site.......
it is the same website. address

#2090129

still. not working

#2090131

does the email address have to match as the websites email?

#2090135

Thanks for the update and it is strange that the issue still persists.

The email address doesn't have to match the website's email.

Can you please share temporary admin login details for your website, so that I can access the admin area?

Note: I've set your next reply as private.

#2093537

can I please have your email address
so that I can add you as a user?

#2094123

You can use my email address "test@waqar.xyz".

Please make sure to give this user the "administrator" role.

#2094163

Thank you for sharing the admin access.

I've tested your website with a temporary created Toolset site key and it registered without any issue.

This confirms that there is no server connection issue involved.

Can you please go to the Toolset site keys page ( https://toolset.com/account/sites/ ) and share a screenshot of the site key that you see? It is important that the site key and the URL are properly visible in the screenshot.

Note: I've set your next reply as private.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot.

Your screenshot shows that the site key was generated using the URL with www.
( screenshot: hidden link )

However, in your website's settings at WP Admin -> Settings -> General, the address is not using www.
( screenshot: hidden link )

Please delete the existing site key and generate a new one making sure to copy the exact address from your website's settings.
