Hi Emmanuel,

Thank you for waiting.

During initial testing on my own website, I couldn't reproduce this issue.

Can you please share a clone/copy of your website, so that I can deploy it on my own server for deeper troubleshooting.

Here is a guide on sharing the website's clone/copy:

Your next reply will be private so that you can share the information securely.

Hi Waqar, unfortunately I can't clone the site since my hosting is wpengine in which the duplicator plugin is blocked.

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for writing back.

During further investigation, we were able to identify the cause of this issue. This only appears, if no post type is set to be managed by the Toolset Access plugin. This is also the case on your website.

This has been reported to the concerned team already and I'll keep you updated with the progress through this ticket.

For now, you can set at least one post type to be managed by Access and you'll be able to add new WPML Group.

I hope this helps and please let me know how it goes.

regards.

Hi I think it really made sense to setup the post types for Access to manage, I just didn't thought about that, so maybe add an instruction for users to be notified that they need to setup Access first so custom WPML groups will work.

Hi Emmanuel,

Your observation is correct and in earlier versions of the Toolset Access plugin, there was a warning message, for a case like this.

This missing warning is now reported to the development team and I'll update you with the progress through this ticket.

Thank you for bringing this forward.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Emmanuel,

Just wanted to update that Toolset Access 2.7.4 has been released, which includes a fix for this issue.

Please feel free to update and let us know through a new ticket if the issue still persists.
