Hi.
I'm trying to create a view with two different post types (Type A and Type B). When I create the view and add elements in the loop, all the items from Type A should display first. Now all the items in Type B are displayed first. How do I change the order in which items appear when they are two different post types?

Hi Christine

Use the Block Navigation at the top of the screen to make sure you have the whole View block selected.

Then in the sidebar you will see a section for ordering settings (screenshot), where you can use Post Type to orderby. You don't have a lot of choices, just the direction, which you can switch if it is currently not what you need. (I expect that it sorts by the slug of the post type name, though I'm not entirely sure.)

Thank you.
I wonder if you can help with one more issue. I use Elementor together with toolset and according to this tutorial video I should be able to use those together hidden link

But I'm having an issue that my Toolset post types don't show up in my Elementor selector for inserting a post type, see attached screenshot.

I don't recognise that module, the Masonry and Grid module doesn't show up in the list of modules in my Elementor Pro test site.

If I use other Pro modules like the Post module then in the Query section I have no problem seeing the post types created with Toolset.

Is it an Elementor Pro module, or an add-on from another plugin?

In any case, as it's not made by us, I don't know how the list of custom post types is created. I think you should contact the plugin authors to understand why the post types are missing, they would be best placed to explain what is required.
