Tell us what you are trying to do?
Dear Toolset team. Using Toolset for the first time and loving it! I am a bit of an amateur so please bear with me. I am trying to create a custom search in a sidebar and have the results display next to it. I have created a View that contains my custom post display based on a Layout. I have created a separate View for the search and added the search in a Template Layout as a Visual editor cell. My question is: How to control the results display? I can not get the results to display next to the search, in its own row? I will appreciate any guidance.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Hello,

I assume you are going to display the Views search form and search result in different place of the same page,
If it is, yes, it is possible within Views plugin, and it needs only one view, please check the document you mentioned:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters/#displaying-custom-search
section "4.1. Adding the custom search form to a page or widget",

See screenshot:

You can display the search form only or the search result only
