[Resolved] How to created Related Select Fields

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

If you take a look at this site:

You can see that the available list of drop down options (Models) is dependent upon the selection of the first field (Make)

I am trying to imagine how this could be achieved within ToolSet, using a "Parent / Child" category relationship.

Can you advise?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - as I understand, you need dependent dropdown so that if you select one option from the first dropdown it will display the associated options with the second drop-down. If this is true - there is no such native option available using which you can construct dependent drop-down using parent/child taxonomy.

There is a way using which you can construct/dispaly dependent dropdown using views but it works based on the post type. You can check the example at:
