Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have a website with Divi Version: 4.7.7
I have installed Toolset Views, Toolset Forms and Toolset Types.
I have created a view insite tooslet for one of my custom post type.
All I want to add this view in my page using divi builder. I do not see any module in divi builder. Please find the attachment.
I know I can use shortcode of view inside divi text field, That works BUT I dont want to use it everytime.

Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/2019/10/toolset-and-divi-4-issues/
Is this still an issue?

Please let me know how I can add a view within my divi builder with other divi elements.

Waiting for a reply.!

Hi Soniya

We are actually preparing a new Divi module for inserting Views—whether those Views are created with the legacy editor or with Blocks—for which I think most of the work is complete and I expect to be released "soon", but I can't say more specifically when that will be.

In the meantime you need to insert the wpv-view shortcode inside a Divi text module as you have been doing already.

Hello Nigel.
Thanks for the response. We will wait for that update.

I have another concern here. Please check the steps followed:
1) I created a new view from toolset (Full custom display mode).
2) I selected the post type to display and selected all other required options.
3) Then I go to Loop Editor section > Loop Wizard.
(Please note that I have selected "divi builder" from Toolset > Settings > General > "Editor to use for Content Templates")
4) In loop wizard I select Bootstrap 4 grid. and select few fields to display in loop.
5) Then I see, "Edit with Divi Builder" to create a template. Please refer attached figure1.png
6) When I click on that I get another screen saying "Edit with Divi Builder". Please refer attached figure2.png
7) When I click that I expect to see divi builder to create template, Instead I see simple editor. Please refer attached figure3.png

May I please know where can I see divi builder to create dynamic template for my view?

Thank you!

Hello Sonia,

Nigel will be on vacation for the rest of the year. If you don't mind, I'll continue with you on this ticket.

Can you please paste your Toolset Debug information in the Debug information field? That would give me more details about your current setup.

I created a clean installation with Toolset Types, Views, Form, Divi 4.7.7 and I was not able to reproduce any of the options you encounter:
- No option in Toolset Settings to choose the Divi builder.
- The content template in a view does not offer to use the Divi builder.
I wonder what versions do you use. If you add the debug information, we'll get all the information.
If you are not using the latest versions, I'll suggest making an update on a staging site and checking there before updating the live site.

Hello Jamal,

Thanks for the response.
I have checked your sandbox environment. And I could see there was no Divi theme activated, I activated the divi theme and followed all the steps (Which I have mentioned in above conversation)
I could not see any divi builder in content template editor screen. Here I am attaching screenshot(Figure4.png) of your own environment.
May be you should try once folllowing all the steps and refer the screenshots I have attached above.

I use
Divi 4.7.7
Toolset Views 3.3.5
Toolset Types 3.4.5
I guess all are updated and latest.

Thank you!

Yes, Sonia, sorry for missing that. I also think that we need to activate the Divi Builder for the content templates custom post type hidden link

So, the issue that appeared on your website was not reproducible on a clean installation. We can call it an exception that only happens on your website or probably for that content template only. I should take a copy of your website and analyze it locally. Would that be ok with you? If yes, please provide a Duplicator package of your website(exclude uploads folder to reduce the size) or allow us temporary access to install the plugin and take the copy. Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Sorry. It seems that the same issue is also reproducible on this clean install. No need to share your website, I'll escalate the issue to our 2nd Tier for further analysis.

#1889337

According to our 2nd Tier. The issue is not reproduced on a clean install. And we have to disable "The Latest Divi Builder Experience" in Divi Options->Builder(tab)->Advanced(tab). When a content template is editable using the Divi Builder, it has a meta "_et_pb_use_builder" set to "on".

I'll need to analyze your website's content template from the database level. Please allow me temporary access to your WordPress installation and FTP access(to upload Adminer and check the database). Your next reply will be private to let you share credentials safely. ** Make a database backup before sharing credentials. **

Thank you Soniya,

I was able to convert a content template to the Divi Builder. I was also able to create a new template and edit it on the Divi Builder:
- hidden link
- hidden link

The trick is to click on the link "Stop using Divi Builder for this Content Template" hidden link
Then click on the Divi Builder button to start editing again in the Divi Builder.

So, I followed the steps you mentioned, and I created a new view. Then I used the trick I explained above and I was able to edit the content template with the Divi Builder. Check this screencast hidden link

On the other hand, I noticed that the "Fields&Views" button from Toolset was not helping to add Toolset Shortcodes. I had to put them manually.

I hope this unlocks the possibility to edit with the Divi Builder. I'll remain at your disposal.
