Tell us what you are trying to do? When adding a custom post type the list of available icons within the "Name and Description" area does not have what I need. So I would like to a add my own icon instead.

Is there any documentation that you are following? Could not find any documentation

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - there is no way to upload the custom menu icon but as a workaround, you can use the following plugin "Admin Menu Editor" which will allow you to set/upload cutom menu icon for your desired post type.
