When listing posts in the backend it is possible to add custom fields as columns to that list.

Hi,
I know how I can put new columns for custom fields in the display table of posts of a new type, but I don't know how I can put a relationship field.
For example, I have 1 relationship between the "Manufacturers" type and the "Printers" type, on the "Printers" table I would like a column to be displayed with the "Manufacturer" to which that printer belongs.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Francisco R.

Hi Francisco

There is no such option, I'm afraid, only fields belonging to the post type itself can be added as a column in that table.

I'm sure it's possible in principle, but it hasn't been implemented.

You would need to request such a feature, which you can do at https://toolset.com/home/contact-us/suggest-a-new-feature-for-toolset/, that will go to the product manager to evaluate.

Hi Nigel,

Too bad, it is something basic to consider, something that Toolset should already have. 🙁

Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Francisco R.

Likewise, I'll mention this in the daily meeting with the developers to encourage them to accept the request which I see you already submitted.
