[Resolved] how can I control the admin layout

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I made a CPT with some custom fields
they all appear as a long simple list

do you have a tool or other solution that I can control on this layout on the back end? if I like some fields to be in the same raw, or divide the fields to columns?

No, there is no such tool.

What you could do is modify the CSS applied to the HTML used there, but you can not modify the HTML which probably is needed to customize the look as you state.

To modify the CSS only you need to activate a deprecated feature in Types:

Note that while that DOC speaks only for User Fields, this same is valid for Post Fields but not for Term fields which cannot be styled at all.
