Tell us what you are trying to do?
-> I want to create some hierarchical taxonomies that represent product types and subtypes

I can add custom taxonomies, but I don't see where I can create the hierarchy

Is there any documentation that you are following?
-> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/custom-content/create-custom-taxonomies/
-> https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/custom-content/create-a-custom-post-type/

There is an old post with the same topic, but no solution is shown:
-> https://toolset.com/forums/topic/custom-taxonomy-with-parent-child-hierarchy/

Is there a similar example that we can see?
-> no

What is the link to your site?
-> hidden link
-> there is nothing visible yet, the very first thing I wanted to do is create hierarchical taxonomies

Thanks,
Ken

Hello, it works similar to how you would add hierarchical Category terms in WordPress. First you should assign the custom taxonomy to some post type in "Post types to be used with this taxonomy" section of the Taxonomy Editor screen ( as shown in your screenshot edit custom taxonomy.png) Then in the main WordPress menu, you will find your custom taxonomy listed along with that post type. If you click the name of the taxonomy in the main WordPress menu, you will be able to add hierarchical terms. See the screenshot here, showing the Category submenu item inside the Posts menu. Your taxonomy will appear in the menu along with whatever post type you assign in the taxonomy editor. Then you can use that link to add terms.
