Hi Iana,

I noticed that there is an issue if you set the form to pending review.

Could you try changing the form from "pending review" to publish.
I tested this and it works on my local host.

Thanks,
Shane

I got your message about changing to publish. That didn't work for me. Also, categories are no longer pre-selected.
This has been 1 issue that's spanned almost an entire work week. Is there a way we can get this resolved more expediently?

Hi Iana,

That is really strange as i've tried these exact steps by just setting the form to publish the post and it works.

The issue form should've had this section here but I checked on the form and I noticed that this was missing.

[cred_field field='@round-up-contribution.parent' value='[wpv-post-id]' class='form-control' output='bootstrap']

Finally when I checked on the page for the form to test it I'm getting a 404. Could you check on this and let me know as soon as possible so that I can check the results on your test site.

Thanks,
Shane

Here's the form I'm using:
hidden link

I embedded the form on this page:
hidden link

I submitted a form on the above page to create a new contribution post:
hidden link

I expected the categories and relationship to be included. However, those values do not carry through.

I hope that helps.

Hi Iana,

You are correct.

This is strange as you can see it connects to the post on the backend on my local host when I submit from the form on the frontend.

It could also be differences in our Server Setup.

Could you check the PHP logs to see if there is anything there that could give us any information as to why this is not working.

Thanks,
Shane

This is the only thing in the error log related to this site:
[Fri May 18 08:35:32.568346 2018] [:notice] [pid 2842] [client 162.237.205.148:34788] mod_hive matched URI hidden link (/home/b2bdiger/public_html/wp3/wp-login.php) with match 2, referer: hidden link

Is there something I can give/generate for you to look at the server setup?

Hi Iana,

From what I can see everything should work.

However i've escalated your ticket to our 2nd tier supporters for further debugging.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Iana,

Thanks you for the patience.

Our team isn't able to replicate the issue on their end either.

Could you try creating 2 CPT in a parent/child relationship and then create a child form.

From here can you test the relationship on the child form and let me know if the problem remains with these 2 newly created CPT.

Thanks,
Shane

Here's where I am:
- I kept the parent (Roundup)
- I deleted the old child (Contribution) and create a new one under the same name
- I created a new child form by simply using "auto-generate form"
- I added the child form to a test parent post (hidden link)
- I selected the parent relationship (40454 contribution form) and completed the rest of the form

Here's what I saw:
All other fields submitted correctly.
The relationship field did not.

I also noticed in the tests that your relationship fields did not get saved either so I do believe you're experiencing the same issue.

Is there a script I can add to my functions.php you can help me with?

Hi Iana,

I could but this needs to work and if there is a bug then we need to fix it not just workaround it 🙂

I'm taking another duplicator from your site to test fresh with this new case. Is that ok ?

Thanks,
Shane
