[Resolved] Help with WPML and toolset

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Help with WPML and toolset

Solution:
User did not translated the taxonomy using WPML correctly. What you should do actually is that you should add all Category names in English and then translate all those categories in your secondary language.

You can find the proposed solution in this case with the following reply:

Hi,

thanks for toolset.

The front page in finnish (finland) is not having the toolset views sections. i'm using WPML.

hidden link

Here's the original front page in english: hidden link (there's two toolset views sections)

Is there any issue, or do i have to reset that manually?

If so, is it a way to use the original template (i haven't checked yet if it's possible)?

Thanks.

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please make sure that you followed the correct steps to translate the view and page.
- https://toolset.com/course-lesson/translating-views-content-templates-archives-and-forms/
- https://toolset.com/course-lesson/translating-the-content/

If it still does not help, please share admin access details and I'm happy to look at whats going wrong with your setup.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

I see you added few WooCommerce category in secondary language and few in default English language:
=> hidden link

What you should do actually is that you should add all Category names in English and then translate all those categories in your secondary language.
=> https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/

Can you please first setup your terms correctly in English and then translate it to your secondary languages. Once you setup and translate the Product Category terms correctly, please try to use the button "Synchronize Product categories assignment in content" that will assign the translated terms to translated posts:
=> hidden link

Please then take full backup of your database and use WooCommerce Multilingual's troubleshooting section - to fix remaining glitch:
=> hidden link

Can you please do this steps and see if that helps you to resolve your issue.
