Hi,
for a client I need to redesign the following german Website (I'am German as well):
hidden link
If you go to the following site: hidden link
, the customer has the option to book a trip for a christian freetime over a weekend or a complete week. As you can see there are red, yellow and green dots, like the german traffic light. If the light is green, there are much free slots letf for booking reservation. If yellow, there are only a few free slots left and if it's red, the event is fully booked. I'am using Elementor and Astra theme for designing the website, but those red dots should be dynamically shown. Some staff members should have the opportunity to choose the dots in the backend and the according dot should be shown in the frontend. Is it possible to realize this with the Toolset plugin? If yes, which plugins shall I use? Could you give me some hints how to realize it?

Thanks a lot
Thorsten

Hello, thank you for contact us. I will try to do my best to help you.

I think that Toolset can help you to build the site that you are thinking of. You can use Types plugin (https://toolset.com/home/types-manage-post-types-taxonomy-and-custom-fields/) to create a Custom Post Type or the Events (Trips). Then, in the post type, you can create a custom field named Status, with three checkboxes, there you can select the light flight colour, red, yellow or green. You can use conditional output to show the values in the frontend https://toolset.com/documentation/beyond-the-basics/conditionally-show-content/
Also, you can use Views plugin (https://toolset.com/home/views-create-elegant-displays-for-your-content/) to create custom Content Templates to show those custom fields and display group of post as a list using views.

Please let me know if this solves the issue or if you need further details.

Have a good day.

Hi José,
thanks for the assistance. I'am new to toolset but intermediate developer. I'll try your suggested steps in the upcoming weeks.
Another "problem" I have to solve for the above mentioned site:
The End-User should have the option to register on the website with his name and address. Than, if he plans to make a booking reservation for a freetime trip over the weekend or a complete week, he should login with E-Mail Address and PW. The address of the logged in user should be than be shown in the registration form. Is this possible with toolset?
Also, if the user is on the registration side/form, there will be a dropdown with the chice of different freetime trips types. Attached you can find a picture (sorry, it's only in german) with the current state, where the user has to fill this pdf manually. As you can see on the right side in the pic, there are some checkboxes with optional choices for the according freetime trip. Some of them have numbers. The ones with numbers shall only appear for the corresponding freetime trips tith the corresponding numbers. Now, is it possible, that a staff member could have the option in the backend of wordpress to choose, which of the freetime trips (the ones from the dropdown menu on the left side in the picture) will have the optional choice from the right side in the picture? For example, is it possible with toolset, to make a custom post type where the steff maber has the option to choose for example the freetime trip "6148 Pepople for Christ and share this with all / or some of the options from the right side of the picture? I hope, you understand what I mean. I know, it's a bit difficult to explain.

Thanks a lot
Thorsten
