Help showing grandchild related posts within a view

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have three custom post types: Cohorts, Plays, and Playwrights. One Cohort will have many Plays and each Play might have more than one Playwright. I have a View on the Cohort page that lists all the plays but I also want to also link to any Playwrights for each play. I'm getting an error about nested views in the block builder and I'm not really sure how to use the Classic View builder. I thought I did it but I keep seeing No Items Found on the Cohort page. It seems like I can add custom fields but I don't think it will link to the post and I don't want to enter the playwrights' names twice (title and custom field).

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

Your understanding is correct and the nested views are only supported within classic/legacy editor views.

Can you please share temporary admin login details, so that I can see how this classic view is set up in the admin area? I'll be in a better position to guide you with the next steps, accordingly.

This plugin is turning out to be too difficult for me and I'm going to use something else. It is very powerful and I just don't have time to figure it all out. Thanks for your help. I'm going to request a refund.
