Header Thumbnail now showing after upgrading WordPress

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

On specific categories, the Page Header Thumbnail is now showing. How do we hide the thumbnail or featured images on pages? This happened after we upgraded WordPress. Note: we had not made any updates since May of 2021. Please let me know where the setting is for the categories.

Hi Jessica,

This appears to be caused by your theme as its displaying a featured image but the post type doesn't have any featured image.

You can hide this section using the css below.

#post-media{
display: none !important;
}

You can add it to the css section of your content template for your post type.

Thank you. The theme shows that featured images are off. I'm still not sure what is triggering the showing of the featured image. The CSS code did the trick though. Thank you!
