[Resolved] Guest unable to upload files

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user's guests are not able to upload images using Toolset Forms.

Solution:

The issue was actually in access and setting the media post type to use the default wordpress permissions resolved the issue.

Hi,
I have a
I am using formidable forms for the site. I have created a form for swimmers to apply on our site, They are not logged in. As a part of the application form a few files need to e uploaded.

When a user uploads an image the form shows an error -1 or "You have no access to upload files"

I have checked with formidable and they have said there are no issues on my end.
When I disable Access plugin the form works. How do I add uploads permissable for guests

Hello,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Do you have our access plugin installed?

If so could you temporarily disable it and try again ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,

If guests only have Read access then that means they won't be able to upload any files. Could you give them publish access as well ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hello,

Yes you are correct. Could you instead set it to use the default wordpress permissions?

Thanks,
