Hi,

On pages using Toolset Views/Blocks, the following external request is being made to Google's servers:

hidden link

This is confirmed via Chrome DevTools — the initiator is views-blocks-frontend-js-extra.

This is a GDPR violation as it sends visitor IP addresses to Google without consent.

Questions:

Is there a built-in setting in Toolset to disable Google Fonts loading?

Which specific Toolset block/view is generating this font request?

What is the recommended fix to prevent Toolset from making external font API calls?

We have set no font-family in any Toolset block settings but the request still fires.

Best

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please tell me on what page/post you see that and what is the exact full URL that loads the font.

In addition to that - Could you please send me debug information that will help us to investigate your issue.

This is just one page, but we still have this issue on other pages as well. We already have the OMGF plugin, and they mentioned that the Pro version can localize these kinds of font calls. They suggested purchasing Pro version of their plugin, but if possible, a better long-term solution would be to make Toolset load local fonts by default instead of using Google Fonts.
