I have a View where I have Infinite scroll enabled. I have the page set to show 6 items per page and I have a total of 14 items.

Page 1 displays fine. As I get to the bottom though, Page 2 loads but puts me toward the bottom. Page 3 shows normal.

The big issue though is when I scroll up, the page doesn't change state. I don't see my Page 1 etc.

I've tried playing with the settings but no luck. Ideas?

I do not understand the issue.

When you have infinite scrolling, the behaviour is like this:

1. At first, you see the items you load first (6 in your case)

2. When you scroll, you will see it loads 6 more items.
It will not push the page up or down, it will simply load them.

3. If you scroll back up, the first loaded page/items is/are still there.

Can you elaborate your goal?

Hi,

what I would like is that the user would have the ability to see ALL 14 items as they scroll back up the page.

#466385

Yes, but that is exactly how it works.

After the scroll, additional Posts get loaded.
If you then scroll back up, the previously loaded ones are still there.

Can you send me a link to the issue Site and describe the current / wished behaviour maybe with some ScreenShots or a ScreenCast?

Hi,

I'll do a screencast for you. Can you send a private form so when it's done I can give you the URL and password?

#466811

The private form is active.

Hey, thanks for the video :), it helps.

So, no, this is not how it should work, as far I saw what's happening.

This is how it has to work:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/getting-infinite-scroll-to-work-in-reverse/#post-466170

1. Please if possible give me an URL to the issue page
2. If possible add Admin Details for a Super-Admin (so I can edit anything)

I will not make major changes, mainly I will check the behaviour and make some setting changes, therefore nothing will be lost.

At max, I will create a new Dummy Test View.

May I ask if you perhaps have a Development site where you could actually use a Native WordPress theme and no other Plugins?
if so, please give me access to that site instead of a live site, it's much safer.

Will see how to solve this ASAP.

You could send me a copy of your website, or just the single View.

Better is the copy of the website, so I can quickly check as well some other settings - or compatibility issues.

You can follow these instructions to send me a Copy if the Site:
https://toolset.com/faq/provide-supporters-copy-site/

I can then try to fix this up and either send the package back, or instruct what's wrong.

There is an "Export View" featured.
Head to Toolset > Import / Export and export them.
Then you can send them to me.

The settings you show me are just fine, they must work.

I really need to see this in action.

Of course, the first thing I will try is to dump it and re-create it according to this DOC:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/infinite-scrolling-in-views/

But I would like to spare you this hassle.
