Could you highlight what these compatibility issues are? (especially as its associated theme, GeneratePress, is one of your recommended themes to use with Toolset)
The plugin author has indicated that they would be willing to look to fix any incompatibilities if they can be specified.
I checked on our system for a list of the compatibility issues but i'm unable to find any. However if you are having any specific issues you can let me know and we can see how best we can resolve it.
Thanks Shane. Any chance you can check with colleagues as it seems odd to publicly state compatibility issues on your site but then not have any further information? It would be a good opportunity to get it resolved as the plugin author is willing to look to fix any incompatibilities.
We're planning on a major project that is likely to utilise Toolset and GenerateBlocks so it would be good to know before we dive into it.
Ok thanks Shane. I'm glad there aren't any known incompatibilities, but can I suggest you remove the statement from your website? It's a bit confusing and I can imagine it's frustrating for the plugin developer.
So based on what our team leader says and what was logged on our system.
The only issues right now are with the custom css are not displaying on the frontend when you are using a Content template.
So it is replicable by these steps.
- Install GenerateBlocks plugin on a Blocks test site
- Add a new page, insert some GenerateBlocks blocks (e.g. buttons block) with some styling, and visit the page on the front end to confirm that works
- Create a CT, insert some GenerateBlocks blocks with stying, assign the CT to some post or page and view on the front-end. Note the block styles are completely missing.
