Tell us what you are trying to do?
On https:/test.basisnaarbrug.nl I want frontend editing enabled for custom postypes. I created the templates and forms as described. On the clicking the 'edit' button the page reloads, opens the template but no editing form is shown. It shows the pages to be editted as a page with the content-template-id appended to the url

Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://toolset.com/course-lesson/front-end-forms-for-editing-content/

Is there a similar example that we can see?
Display page with edit button when logged in: hidden link
After clicking 'edit'button: hidden link

What is the link to your site?
hidden link

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please make sure that you grant the permission to the user role for your edit form:

Navigate to:
=> Toolset => Access Control page and click the Toolset Forms tab
=> click to expand the Post Forms Front-end Access
=> Grant the access to your desired role and save settings and check if that help you to resolve your issue.

That is strange.

Can you please share problem URL where you added your edit form as well as admin access details.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Unfortunately - the admin access details you shared is not working at this end.

Can you please send me working admin access details.

I see you configured the Edit form and edit link as expected as per the Doc:

But somehow I see its not working.

In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure there is no conflict with the plugin(s)/theme you use:

Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes?
- Do you see any difference? If no:

I will require your site copy in order to debug this further:

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
