[Resolved] Forms Update Won’t Update

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to update his Forms plugin. However he is getting the error.
Update Failed: undefined
» Toolset Forms cannot update because your site's registration is not valid. Please register Toolset again for this site first.

Solution:

Could you try re-creating your registration key and re-register the plugin and see if that helps ?

This support ticket is created 5 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

The new Form 2.1 won't update for me. My subscription does not expire until Sept 17 but when I try to update the plugin I get the following error. Clearly, the math is being done incorrectly somewhere.

Update Failed: undefined

Yes it seems so, however could you try re-creating your registration key and re-register the plugin and see if that helps ?

That fixed the problem. Any idea what went wrong? Am I going to need to do the same for each of my sites?
