[Resolved] Display taxonomy terms hierarchically

The Toolset Community Forum is closed, for technical support questions, please head on to our Toolset Professional Support (for paid clients), with any pre-sale or admin question please contact us here.

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
How can I display the Taxonomy Terms of a Hierarchical Taxonomy, according their order of hierarchy?

Solution:
You can choose Ascending or Descending order when inserting the Taxonomy ShortCode [wpv-post-taxonomy] with the GUI.

It's possible to either display first all parent Terms, then all Child Terms, or, opposite, first all Child Terms and then all Parent Terms

In a Content Template, I want to simply display my taxonomy terms, no links, using [wpv-post-taxonomy type='equipment' format='name']

I was expecting it to display by top level, then sublevel. i.e.: "Grinder, 1.5 HP."

Instead, it displays in reverse order: "1.5 HP, Grinder."

How do I sort it out?

You can choose Ascending or Descending order when inserting the Taxonomy ShortCode.

Is it that what you need?

It's possible to either display first all parent Terms, then all Child Terms, or, opposite, first all Child Terms and then all Parent Terms

That appears to be the simple answer I was looking for. Thank you.
