I am trying to: get a responsive form

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: can only be seen when logged in.

I expected to see: a responsive form

Instead, I got: a form with huge input fields

Q: How can I link to a page that includes the form when someone wants to edit his entry?

Hello,

I assume we are talking about forms created by Toolset Forms plugin,

If it is, Toolset Forms plugin supports Bootstrap responsive grid

If your website is not using Bootstrap, you can try this:
Dashboard-> Toolset-> Settings
Option "Bootstrap loading" choose "Toolset should load Bootstrap 3.0"

More help:
hidden link

Yes, thanks! But when I edit a form I do not see the bootsrap "Gitter" button. Alternatively I would like to call an edit-form within a BeaverBuilder page, is that possible?

Yes, you just need to put the Toolset form shortcode [cred_form] into the BeaverBuilder page
