I am trying to: View search results, and be able to change the drop-down options.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link and select a drop-down, click Go.

I expected to see: On results page, expected to be able to change the filter I had initially selected.

Instead, I got: I am not able to change the selected filter.

The person that reported the issue to me uses Ubuntu operating system. Is there any way to correct this for Ubuntu users (if this is the issue)?

Hello,

I have tested the URL you mentioned above with Ubuntu 18 + the latest version of Firefox + Chrome browser, but can not see the same problem as you mentioned above:
not able to change the selected filter.

See screenshot ubuntu-firefox.JPG, I can select options in dropdown menu " - Select category"

Same as Ubuntu + Chrome browser, see screenshot ubuntu-chrome.JPG

So the problem might be a browser problem, please check these:
- You are using the latest version of Ubuntu + Firefox browser
- Clear Browser cache
And test again
