[Resolved] Fatal error rest on line 5

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I am trying to: install views and blocks

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: ---

I expected to see: activation successful

Instead, I got: fatal error /wp-content/plugins/wp-views/vendor/toolset/common-es/php/Library/WordPress/Rest.php line 5

Solution which worked (for now): changing 'Rest' on line 5 to Rest1

Do you mean that when you try to activate the Views plugin or Blocks plugin you get this error? If this is correct - we have other user reporting the same issue and its known to us and already escalated to our next level support.

Hi, yes, I fixed this issue by changing the name of “rest” on line 5 l, to “rest1”

I believe it was a conflict when trying to create the class

It’s worked for now and I can’t see anything wrong in the site.

We do not recommend to change the files of any kind of edits within the core plugin files.

We are already aware of the issue and its been already escalated. Please hold on for further updates.

I would like to inform you that we release new version for Toolset Blocks, Toolset Views and Toolset Woocommerce views. Please update to the latest version plugin that is shipped with the fix for your issue.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
Could you please update ALL Toolset plugins to it's latest officially released version and try to resolve your issue. You can download latest plugin release from your accounts page:
