I am trying to expire posts that where created normally, that is without Cred.
How can this be done?
Also is there a way to set up notifications without Cred?
That is to say, when a post expires, I want a notification to be sent out to the post author + another email address (custom field)
I also want a taxonomy field to be ticked. (e.g. taxonomy = category + tax term = expired)
There is an old post here where someone ask for such a feature to be added (https://toolset.com/forums/topic/pass-custom-cred-field-to-expiration-date-expire-options/). Any updateds on that?
Any assistance on the above is appreciated.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting our support forum.
Unfortunately no its not possible to send the emails without CRED, this is because the post expiration is also controlled by CRED.
Thanks,
Shane
Thanks for your response.
As I need Cred to send notifications, can I use cred to achieve the above, even if the post is not submitted via a form?
Also, how can I use Cred expiring to expire a post to a category term, rather then draft or review?

Hello,
You can use CRED to do this -> I want a notification to be sent out to the post author + another email address (custom field)
But cred cannot be used to assign a different category or taxonomy when the post expires.
Thanks,
Shane
