Tell us what you are trying to do?

Example - "Actor" custom type has a one to many relationship with "Agency" custom type.

I have a front end editing form where the actor adds profile info

I would like them to select from a dropdown box - the agency that represents them

Can i do this - or do i have to create a special relationship form?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

If you've set the relationship in a way that 1 Agency can have many Actors, then you'll see an "Agency Actor" relationship field in the form to add a new "Actor". Through this field, the actor can select an "Agency" from the list.

However, if 1 actor can be linked to multiple Agencies then this selection won't be possible through the form to add a new "Actor" and you'll have to use a separate relationship form, to join them.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
