I am trying to:
Place an editing link in a view which should link to a form so the user is able to change content.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link
It´s the last paragraph called "Toolset View with link to editing form"

I expected to see:
A Link to click on to open the editing form.

Instead, I got:
No Link in the view.

I´ve followed your instructions here step by step: https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/forms-for-editing/

Hi Kai,

Thank you for contacting us and I'd be happy to assist.

To troubleshoot, why the post edit link is not showing correctly, I'll need to see how this view is set up in the admin area.

Can you please share a temporary admin user's access detail, in reply to this message?

Note: Your next reply will be private and though no changes will be made on your website, please make a complete backup copy, before sharing the access details.

regards,
Waqar

Hi Kai,

Thank you for sharing the admin access.

I've noticed that the shortcode for the edit form link ( [toolset-edit-post-link] ), exists in the view named "Test".
( screenshot: hidden link )

However, it is placed outside the view's loop, which starts from "<wpv-loop>" tag and ends at "</wpv-loop>" tag.

To fix this, you can move this shortcode inside the loop, either in the "Loop-Editor" section ( between "<wpv-loop> ... </wpv-loop>" ) or in the view's loop item content template.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need any further assistance around this.

regards,
Waqar
