I just found out that I can edit my Content Templates directly in Divi - which is AWESOME.

I have two questions about how the interface works:

1. am I ONLY able to use TEXT modules when I am in edit mode, or can I use any of the other Divi modules?

2. I made a change to one of my text modules - under DESIGN - in the size of the font - and then I found that several of the text modules applied the same change. I thought those changes were only supposed to apply to the text module being edited - is that not true?

Thanks for your help!

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Yes - Divi is one of our recommended themes to use.

With the following link you will find all the details how you can use Divi theme with Toolset:
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/

And here is the Doc how you can display fields inside any Divi module - you will find all details there.
=> https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/displaying-fields-inside-any-divi-module/

1. am I ONLY able to use TEXT modules when I am in edit mode, or can I use any of the other Divi modules?

Using any other Modules: use fields as arguments for Divi Modules. Use this approach if, for example, you want to create a button and use fields to control the button text and URL to which it links.

2. I made a change to one of my text modules - under DESIGN - in the size of the font - and then I found that several of the text modules applied the same change. I thought those changes were only supposed to apply to the text module being edited - is that not true?
=> What changes you applied? Yes- it should be specific to the module you are currently editing but I need to know what exactly you done.

Thanks for helping me understand how to use any Divi modules - that's great!

Regarding the editing of the module, I changed the Text Size from 14 to 10 in one of the modules - and when I viewed the page, the text size was changed in almost all of the modules.

As I understand - you designed content template using Divi - correct? OR you are using Divi builder to your post body?

I designed the content template with Divi. Then I put the content template in a view, and I'm calling that view on a page that is made with Divi Builder (but all I did was put the view in a text module - no other design on that page)

The content template is called "Catalog Page Template" and is post # 78615.

The view is called Test Catalog Content Template View and is post # 78616.

The page where the view is being called is called Catalog Item (the view has a filter that uses the post id in the URL - which is why in the thread above I gave you the link hidden link )

On that page, I have placed a Divi Text module, and called the view with this code:

{!{wpv-view name='test-catalog-content-template-view'}!}

Thanks.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
