Hi guys,

How can I get the Edit Profile User form to work?

I've followed through your very detailed tutorial and everything works as expected almost straight away ( thumbs up for you!!!): account creation, payment, account activation and so on.

However, once the account is created, if the logged in user (whose custom role is Business, level 2) tries to access its Edit Profile page is met with the right page with no form...

The page has got the right shortcode and the Role linked to the form is the correct one (see above, same as Create Account).

It works when I'm logged as admin...

Looking forward to hear from you,

Thank you in advance,

Marco

Hi Marco,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

I suspect this has to do with the permissions of the Form itself.

What I suggest that you do is to go to your Access settings for the form at Toolset -> Access Control -> CRED Forms and click on CRED user forms.

Ensure that you custom role has read access to the form.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi Marco,

I noticed that you are using an older version of Access.

Would you mind updating to the latest version and let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Marco,

Could you allow me to have admin access to the website so I may have a look ?

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Marco,

Just an update, the issue seems to be cause by access but i'm still investigating to see why access is blocking access from the form.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Marco,

Could you try deleting the user role and then recreate it as well as recreating the form as I was not able to replicate this issue.

Thanks,
Shane

Shane,

This is bizarre at least: I just checked and the Edit Profile works fine now...
Thank you!
